Contest to develope an algorithm based on GPS

If you are a programmer and you are interested in data mining, machine learning, or artificial intelligence, TunedIT with University of Warsaw announce that a data mining contest "IEEE ICDM Contest: Road Traffic Prediction for Intelligent GPS Navigation" has passed its midpoint.
The contest is affiliated with well known annual conference on data mining - ICDM, which this year will have its place in Sydney, Australia.
There are three programming tasks, but the main one is to create the best algorithm which would predict traffic in a city.
Everybody is welcome to participate. Winner will get prizes worth of $5000.
There are almost 500 participants already and only 4 weeks left.
