Can you please provide more information.

What did you do? Was it an OTA update or done via DM/App Loader? Any error codes? Did the update run to completion or did it stall?

Did you try a battery pull on the BB?

Might need to wipe using Jl_cmdr and then install. See the FAQ and the yellow sticky at the top of the 8300 section.

Was doing a sync with my computer info thru desktop manager when it said an update was available and asked if I wanted to update. Said yes and has not been able to use phone since. All was done using the App loader available on the manager. It acquired the new software, then started to erase what was on the handheld, when it was trying to initialize, program waited until it timed out.

I would wipe with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and then install a new OS - see the yellow sticky at the top of the 8300 section for the latest for your 8320. The instructions for how to do it is also in the sticky.

Thanks very much for the help. Revisited the process and was able to get everything up and running after carefully following the instructions in the Sticky. Thanks again
