Default Dropped My Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I don't know if this is the right place to post...but I dropped my phone and it crashed down with an almighty thud...it still turns on/works properly APART FROM it comes up as 'sos' where the signal is and won't make any calls etc. help? Obviously its broken, but is there anything I can do to fix it DIY style?

Might have damaged the antennae. Don't know of any DIY option to fix something like that.

Which Pearl do you have? tere are a number of different model numbers. And please update your profile to relect the model number, not the nickname.

With the device on, open the back, remove the battery and the SIM (if you have one). Reinsert the SIM and reinsert the battery. Let it reboot.

Sorry its a blackberry pearl 8100 (really old) boyfriend has taken it apart its all bent I think it is certainly the antennae. oh dear....
