hello, i have a 8310 and finally found searchlight , but it cam it a zip file..so i extracted it on my computer, so how do I upload it to my blackberry.
Also , looking for a wayb to upload my contacts on gmail to my blackberry. Gmail plug in will not upload on my blackberry ..and suggestion.

Welcome to BBF.

You use Desktop Manager to upload apps that you downloaded. Is this an app specifically for the 8310 and your OS?

You can use Google Contact sync to sync Google and the BB

searchlight is the free version to turn your bb into a flashlight..but still cant figure out how the bb software can upload the zip files..and cant seem to find gmail sync that works..

Alex you will have to unzip the file, go into your desktop manager, go to applications and search for the folder with the app in it.
