Default Missing Icon

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded an app from AppWorld and the icon appeared on the screen. I think I must have accidentally deleted the icon and it is no longer on the homescreen even If I click "show all". The app is still loaded but I can now only run it from within AppWorld.

Does anyone know how I can get the icon back on the screen?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Best wishes
Nick

Did you check ALL your folders? It seems that the icon has to be somewhere on your bb if it is not hidden.

If open "Applications List" it is there, but I still don't know how to restore the icon.

Can you archive the app in appworld and then restore it? If it is a free app you could delete it and then re-download it. Another option might be to back up 3rd party apps with bbsak and then try to restore it manually. Just some options.

Many thanks - I tried the archive and restore but the Icon is still missing.
It is a purchased App so I cannot delete it.

Did you try to back up the 3rd party app with bbsak, bbmcp or DM; then delete it and restore from the back up?

No - sounds a bit complicated for my ability.

I found out that I can access the App from "Switch Application" which is fine.

Many thanks again for your help.

Best wishes
