I've added my email accounts, 7 to be exact, and installed bebuzz app, my battery is draining way too fast, it lasts around 3-4 hours, and my phone is 1 month old.. I've checked the running apps and there's only home, messages, blackberry messenger, browser, and clock.

Some apps run in the background. They have to, because of push notifications to your BB. And it depends on the app. Some will check in with their server for the latest version occasionally.

It's turned into a battery eater.

Sometimes you have to delete one app per 24 hours until you see the battery life go back to normal. If after deleting one and after 24hrs the battery is still draining just as fast, put it back, delete a different one, and then do a battery pull. And repeat until you've gone thru the list. I would start with apps you have recently installed (bebuzz for example?)

Ditto. And I believe I've observed some apps that run in the background when closed may not show in the ribbon when doing Switch Application. So check settings in each of your apps.

Also, it seems an active web page--a web page that automatically refreshes or reloads--can run down a battery.
