I have a new BB Torch and have many gmail emails, I have managed to set up everything on my phone now to sync email, contacts and calendars (took me 3 days to get this far)
Anyway I want to be able to see all my old emails that are in nice folders (labels) on my Blackberry, but I cant.
I have sussed it out that if you move an email from the BB device to a label and archive it you can click on the filter button and select that folder and "bobs your uncle" there they are.
My question is how do I get all my old gmail emails (1700 of them) back onto my BB so that I can assign them a label and archive them?????? so that i can for example recall an airline ticket from 2 months ago on my BB when asked for it at a checkin counter etc etc
I have tried moving all my emails labelled airline tickets back into the inbox on the web based gmail account and the showed up in the inbox in outlook but not in the Blackberry torch
Note all my emails and folders are in the web based gmail and also in outlook

Unless you are using your blackberry with a google apps account and BES\BESx only email received after you have set you BB up will be received.

However you can do remote searches of your gmail inbox from within you gmail inbox on your phone (rather than the generic inbox so you use the enhanced gmail plug in)

I am using a google apps paid account
15 Miniutes afte I posted the contacts synced
As for the emails still can't find old emails.....folders yes plenty of them but all empty apartfrom the ones that I archived onthe phone

Unless your using google apps account AND a BES/BESX.
Not one or the other, both together.
You're not.

Only new emails will be pushed to the device.
