Can anyone help me with a way of downloading large files from the internet or an application that does that cos anytime I try to download files larger than...say 10mb it tels me unable to download.Even bolt gives a 'null' .

You need to use a computer, then, to download files that large.

I'm not aware of any app specifically for downloading large files on the mobile network. For what it's worth, the RIM podcast app will download large files---If the files you want to download are podcasts, use the app instead of downloading via a mobile browser. Otherwise I think you have no other solution than to do what MM suggests.

I've downloaded a 10 MB PDF with opera mini 5 with no trouble.

Podtrapper will download files of unlimited size, as long as you have a direct url to the file. Its a paid app, but it out performs Rims podcast app.
