Default desktop manager!!!!!!

i just bought a new BB 9780 and i installed the desktop software. but when i connect the BB to the PC, the desktop software closes itself.

can anyone please help me? thanks!

More info is needed.
what type of PC software?
Did you reboot the PC after install?
did you try downloading the DM from RIM? It's free and you get the latest.

BlackBerry - Support & Services then go to downloads
