Hey guys,

I dropped my Blackberry 9780 on the top right hand corner, and it bent the PCB. I knew this would not be covered by warranty but thought, what the heck im stuck 1 month into a 24 month warranty I will give it a go, tried it twice. Both times came back from the Vodafone repair centre with images of why they wouldnt repair it.

Ive opened up the phone since, can anyone tell by looking at the photos what the problem is and if it can be fixed or if it a bin job?

The phone does switch on, it does end up in a reboot loop but sometimes stays stable for 10-15 mins.

I guess anyone elses knowledge is my last shot at this phone!

My guess is the phone is not repairable. Not only is the PCB bent, but it also looks like there are some surface mount electronics broken/dislodged. Someone *might* be able to repair it, but could cost you more than it's worth.
