Ok, so I needed a new Bluetooth device.
I went into the VZW store and the guy 'highly' spoke of the $100 Jawbone ICON. Among all of the features, promised that it would play music.
The website also says it will play music, streaming, podcasts and turn-by-turn directions (with the software update).
I updated it, it paired without any issue.
But I have yet to get it to do anything but voice calls and voice dailing.
The Jawbone 'help and support' on the website has been useless and VZW 'techs' know about as much as an ant does when it comes to troubleshooting a device. If its not on some pre-made popup script for them to read off of their computer screen they have no clue. (My tech kept referring me to how to restore custom words dictionary to my device when I called about the music not playing on the device via the bluetooth.)
The Jawbone website even refers the customer to contact the carrier for phone-specific questions because all they can provide is general overviews since their accessories work with so many different devices, and devices differ.
Has anyone else had this issue?
Any suggestions?
