One to two months ago an icon appeared on the top of my main screen. The icon looks like a gray shield or something with a small yellow triangle in the bottom right and what looks to be an S in the middle. I can't find any updates or messages on my phone that would cause this icon. Today another icon exactly like the first appeared on the top next to the original icon. They are on the top where my message icons are. I do have a few applications that I got at the app store but none of these show an upgrade available that would cause these icons either. I took a snap shot of my main screen and will post that with this message if I can figure out how. Otherwise does anyone have any ideas? I'd really like to avoid having to reset my phone.

No, unfortunately it isn't. It's like a gray shield or something gray the shape of home plate with a yellow triangle on the lower right corner and an S in the middle. If you can tell me how to upload a picture to this I can show you from my screen snapshot.

You have to upload from a PC, can't do it from the mobile site.

The icon doesn't sound familiar at all. What apps have you installed? Do you use flickr or anything like that?

I do not use flickr or anything like that. The app's I have are iLock, CallControl, and SmrtGuard Mobile Security as well as a few newer one's that I've downloaded since these arrived

That's what I thought but I don't see any updates available for smrt guard and why their would be 2 updates?
