New Feature: changing the keyboard layout
Please Login to Remove!
A new feature that I discovered by "accident" and that may be neat for some of us:
You can now change the keyboard hardware between QWERTY, AZERTY or QWERTZ.
Unlike other models, if you don't like the keyboard layout, you can do so now and tell the device what keyboard layout you have.
In Options
Typing and Input
Keyboard.
Here you can use the pick list under keyboard layout and select the one of the three options to match your new keyboard layout.
I'm very happy about this, as usually my "native" layout is QWERTZ but it is difficult to get the unless you buy your device in Switzerland or Germany.
Replacement keyboards can be purchased from different vendors, such as CNN.cn
I hope this is of help.
