Default Media Card Properties

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Blackberry Curve and now I now have a Bold that I want to use. I need to transfer all my info.

Problem 1: I have all my info in a my PC. I now have an Apple. How do I get what is on the computer to my Apple?

Problem 2: What I have on my Curve at the moment is not backed up. I haven't wanted to back it up because I don't want my pictures on my PC. So I thought I would go to ATT and have them transfer everything on my Curve to my Bold then back up on Apple once I get the PC files moved over. Is this wise?

Problem 3: Then my biggest issue is I have all my videos and my voice notes. I have a media card so i think they are saved to it. I am very concerned about the dates changing when I change the media card from one phone to the other. If I back the card of to computer, last time, the properties changed. So the date becomes the last date modified and I lose the original date of my photos. I started renaming all my photos with a date but I have too many. What can I do.

Problem 4: My Curve is about to break, so I need to hurry or will be without a phone that operates.

Thanks Everyone

Default Re: Media Card Properties

Welcome to the Forums.

Desktop manager is available for MAC so moving contacts and other items is easy. As for moving the media card, it may not be possible until formatted due to the security employed by BB. You will need to copy all the data to the Pc then using DM move what you want to the new BB and delete the rest. If you think you will have issues with some of the photos on the BB and do not want to have them on your Pc then you may reconsider having ATT do it. They will us a PC also and virtually everything is able to be seen.
