Question My Blackberry won't stop playing music automatically when I remove the headphones

Please Login to Remove!

Questions in the title. The story is that when I remove my headphones and the music still plays with no Audio because it's still in headset mode, which means it drains battery. The problem is where as before, when I remove the headset it would automatically stop playing so it would conveniently save me the trouble of doing that + save me battery. Please help

Try inserting and removing the jack a number of times, or until the device switches off of headset mode when you remove the jack.

I've read of people using canned air to clear dust or dirt out of the jack receptacle, but I've never done it. If you try it, use high quality canned air.

Thanks for the reply, but I tried removing it several times but it's not coming out of headset mode automatically. This 1st began when I done a battery pull because my jack was playing out of only the left headphone (which resolved the problem)
