Have the 8330 Sprint user guide which does not help my needs. It is not presently under carrier contract... Have an HTC sprint that is. Want to know many things but my immediate interests are as follows:

- Have a USB cable that connects to a laptop with internet access. Have updated the default systems and application files but I do not see how I can use the cable connection for the blackberry to navigate the internet

- As an alternative I am looking at a bluetooth connection to access the internet. I have paired the blackberry with the laptop but everything else fails. Would like to acquire both solutions but the hard wire internet access is paramount because of the bandwidth.

If you are asking if you can share your laptop's internet connection with your BlackBerry, the answer is "no".

If you are asking if you can share your BlackBerry's internet connection with your laptop (although it doesn't seem like this is what you are saying), you need a BlackBerry Data Plan from Sprint and you need to pay for a tethering plan.

I use Ethernet for internet and I share my internet connection with my BB most the time.

I share my internet via Airport (Wireless), which lets my laptop create a Wireless network which my BB can use normally.

EDIT: Using a Mac. I would assume there would be a similar procedure on Windows.
EDIT 2: Apparently 8330's don't have WLAN. Sorry this post is irrelevant.
