I set up GV and I can log in through the mobile website on my Torch to initiate the dial out just fine, using click2call (ie. GV calls me first and connects before calling the desired number and then connects both lines together). I even tried through my Nokia E72 and my iphone4 with no problems whatsoever with either. It even works great through my iphone application but for some reason I can never initiate the dial out from my BB application. The message back on the earpiece is "...we could not complete your call, please try again"

Is it just the BB app or is it just me? Again it works fine when I dial out through the GV mobile website interface, just NOT using the app.

Please help, the app is so much nicer and easier to use and I'd like to know why it doesn't work. Has anyone been able to do this successfully?

oh yes and I forgot to mention that I've already tried the obvious battery pull and uninstall/reinstalling the app...

I had same issue -- after a few tries I just deleted the app. I don't know if I would use it much, but will look forward to an upgraded version...

it works for me when I dial from the Contacts. It doesn't dial at all from the phone app. I always thought that had something to do with the api that BB has exposed. But I can dial through contacts just fine and text through the app. I can also dial from the BB app itself and it seems to work just fine.

this doesn't help you at all as I don't know if I have done anything differently. just letting you know that it does work.

hmmm, thanks for the confirmation casmer, I didn't even try that but big surprise...I get the same message "...we could not complete your call, please try again" when I dial from the contact list.

But it's a little unclear what you typed. so you CAN or CANNOT dial through the BB app? you made a statement and the contradicted yourself soon after.

I can also txt just fine with GV, but no calls through the app!

yeah, by BB App I meant I can dial through the Google Voice app itself as well as from the Contacts themselves. I cannot dial from the BB Phone App. I do not get your message though, it just does nothing when I try that.
