I have a 7290 and I upgraded the software, I had a bluetooth radio on/off switch, now it is gone and I cannot pair my headset. I have a Moto HS820.
Any suggestions as to how I can recover my bluetooth icon and get my bluetooth to work.

Go into the wrench menu, select bluetooth, and then enable the radio again, then you'll get the bluetooth icon on your main screen again.

Thanks for the help.
I did try going to the options menu and selecting Bluetooth, tried disabling, the enabling but still no luck, when I try to pair it finds an audio device, but not the headset I have. I tried to downgrade and revert back to the 3.8 but still nothing. Local store was no help at all. Talk about frustration.

Is the device in pairing mode when you scan for it?

When I select add device, I get the searching for devices screen with the status bar moving normally. Then I get the select device screen, which reads Audio Device. If I select that I get another screen that reads Waiting to hear from Audio device, then Unable to pair.
My headset is set to the correct "on" position. I have to hold the on button down until I get a steady blue light.
I Just want my bluetooth bacK!

I had the same problem when I upgraded to the 4.02. When you do the pairing mode, it has to be done quickly, the 7290 with 4.02, I noticed, times out the pairing mode rather quick.

Another suggestion, I upgraded to the Hong Kong CSL 4.1, its great! Give that a shot.

When you pair the device you should turn on the pairing mode on the headset first, then search for bluetooth devices on the BlackBerry.

Try plugging in device, launch Desktop Manager and use Application Loader. The BlueTooth should be in the app list. Just reinstall it from the App Loader. That worked for several of my users when they lost the icon after upgrading the device OS.

I didn't have any apps in my application loader.
Any other suggestions?
