Default apn setting for 02 p&g

hi folks got my new blackberry 8520 the other day and i wish to use a program called jmirc on my phone but it will not connect to the internet i have been told a need the correct apn setting for 02 uk pay as you go i have tryed 3 different set of settings none of which work here are the settings i have tryed

1) APN:mobile.o2.co.uk USER:faster PASS:password
2) APN:mobile.o2.co.uk USER:mobileweb PASS:password
3) APN:wap.o2.co.uk USER:O2WAP PASS:password

i would be greatfull if anyone in the uk on o2 could offer me any advice on this matter thanks in advance colly.

password: password

Do you have a blackberry data plan?

hi mate i will try them settings now iam on text and web for blackberry on o2 pay and go does that make a difference at all

Possibly. Getting the settings from O2 may help.
Just wanted to make sure you have the correct data plan, as without it the app may not work at all.

o2 cant help its a fault somewhere i saw another thred with a user having the same issue i knew i should have got an i-phone lol

Did you read MidnightDraven's post? you need a Blackberry Data plan to use most services like internet. IPhone is the same. the carriers have specific data plans for those also.
