Default Want to know about Memory Cleaning of 8900

Dear friends,

In Options>>>Security Options>>there is "Memory Cleaning" set up. i want to know which type of memory system cleans and what is the good practice for this set up?

Presently I have set
Clean When Holstered Yes
Clean When Idle: Yes
idle Timeout: 5Min.

Memory cleaning, doesn't release any memory. It merely cleans the already released memory.
Its benefits are minimal to none.

In addition there are some articles in the kbase about memory cleaning loading the processor to the extent that the phones can't decrypt texts fast enough..so you end up getting a <content protection enabled> message in the place of the body of the text. I always tell our users to max the timeout ( 60 minutes I think) and turn off clean when holstered and clean when idled...
