Hi, when my 7290 is on the home screen, it has the message 'Data connection refused' at the top. I understand this is because I haven't set up a data plan. When this message isn't displayed, it shows the name of the network I'm using instead, which I prefer. As I only intend using my dinosaur BlackBerry for making calls and sending texts, is there a way to set up the phone so it isn't always checking if a data connection is available? Thanks.
