Default I don't want to upgrade

So I get an email today from Blackberry telling me to blindly download and install the update. Not so fast!

What is it???? Spyware? Tracking software? Useless games? All of the above? Or something I am interested in? They should be more forthcoming.

They must be aware that many people are very suspicious of mobile phone manufacturers and other actors in the communication and information businesses for tracking physical and electronic activity and/or selling or losing users' personal information.

No wonder RIM stock just tanked. They haven't a clue!

Now I read about people just having technical issues. So until I learn what the update really is and see that people are not having installation and other issues, I am going to not fix what doesn't seem to be broken.

@ ricafern, RIM is more respectable that Apple in that RIM updates only make their devices work better.
So move along, nothin' to see here.

Great. Now I have coffee dripping out of my nose. Thanks anyway though. Best laugh I've had in years.
