hi.. a co-worker of mines has a storm 9530. The screen highlights perfectly, scrolls, but it just does not select/click. The screen is not too tight to restrict the clicking function as it has as much movement as my storm which works. I looked at it, thought it was the OS. I wiped the phone with JL cmdr and reloaded the lastest OS. Still the same after this. Can this be a hardware issue. The phone never dropped or got wet as far they know!! Any help/suggestion is appreciated. thanks

Sounds like a hardware issue to me. Disassembly and cleaning might help. Could also be water damage, possibly just from humidity.
