Default Deleting Applications?

Please Login to Remove!

Greetings!

What is the best way to completely uninstall a 3rd party application from a 7100i? I installed a java-based application that I don't use or like anymore. I pulled up the applications list and noticed that when I select this particular application, I have the option to "delete" it. However, I am wondering if this merely deletes the application from the list or truely uninstalls the application, including all the files??? I want to uninstall the application, not just delete it from a list of applications. Would someone offer some insight or suggestions.

Thanks & God Bless!

Rick

The best way is not the Desktop Manager. The best way is on your Blackberry, go to Options, Applicaions, highlight the one you don't want, hit the scroll wheel, delete.

Just be careful not to remove the one module.

Thumbs up Done! Thanks

Greetings!

I appreciate the reply! That's exactly what I discerned from all my research, just delete the app from the app listing in the BB. It automatically deletes all the files etc. The Desktop Manager can be used to remove programs that are uploaded and installed to the BB from the desktop. There is a Wizard to assist in adding and removing applications to the BB.

God Bless!

Jumpung on here, but when I highlight the particular app on my 7100g and hit the scroll wheel, tha app alaunches. None of my apps pull up a menu, they just launch. How do I delete them?
