Default Image Issue

Please Login to Remove!

I am a beginner in developing apps in blackberry. we are used image in developing UI. The problem is that we are resizing the image to fix at different screen of bb phone. And if we do that, then re sized image quality is poor then the original one. How we solve this issue ?

You should store multiple images, and create some type of image factory that serves up the correct size image for the device. As you have discovered, attempting to resize one image is not optimal.

If i use multiple images for same purpose then app size will be increased. How to fix it

We generally use two images; one "hi-res" image for big displays and one "low-rez" image for thesmaller (320x240) displays. The image is created such that it can be cropped to fit the specific display without losing any important content.

Yes, it makes the app larger. Your only other option is to "paint" the image on the device, if that is practical.
