hi everyone i bought a blackberry torch don't no what model number but i naught it today second hand and i got home and put my 02 sim card into it and all loaded up and then i tried to ring my friend and it said service currently unavailable i have hard rest and soft pope battery out and nothing please help

Go to Options > About to see what model number.

To what carrier is the device branded?
If it is different from the carrier on which you have a SIM card, is the device unlocked?
Is it possible that the device might have been blacklisted for some reason?
