Default BES Web Services

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Folks

We are in the process of migrating our Exchange and BES users to Exchange 2010 and BES 5.0.3 from Exchange 2007 and 4.1.7. We have deployed a new BES 5.0 server and plan on migrating the users over using the transporter tool. We have been following various documentation and posts on here to get where we are today but we are a bit confused about the web services optional steps in the documentation.

We don't have any public folders in our Exchange 2010 environment and are not planning on creating a PF store. Does this mean we need to configure web services for BES, optional tasks 7 and 8. We have already made the registry setting changes on our new BES 5.0 server - task 7.

Migration documentation we are following is below:

How to migrate from Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 or 2007 to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 in a BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 environment

Any help would be very much appreciated.

TIA
Adam
