Hi,

We are about to get 200 new devices that will all need to be activated, however for the last few months we have only been able to activate a Blackberry after first rebooting the BES server.

Otherwise we get the error in the Web Desktop Manager: Blackberry Web Desktop Manager is unable to complete this action, please contact your Administrator.

Reboot server and it works again.

Using 5.0.1.4

Any ideas?

I guess you have to find the root cause why this is happening. Look into BAS logs. You also might want to upgrade to the latest service pack.

Have you tried the OTA activation?
