heading to africa in a month and need a serious french translation tool. Is there anything close to the power of Vocre available on the blackberry platform?

Any other apps that would help also appreciated

I had seen all those in app world. I was looking for something closer to the iOS app called Vocre that allows person A to speak into the phone in one language and have the phones speaker output back the translated text to user B in another language. Will try ispeech. It seems to be what I am looking for

Translation software, at its best, is rudimentary. A dictionary could certainly be helpful, or a basic phrase book, but I can't imagine speaking into an app and making myself clearly understood in the local language.

Why not quickly study up on French phrases and greetings?
