Default Browser Push Notification (newbie)

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to write a browser push application for a 7290. We're using BES 4.0(domino). I've got the application working well enough to push a wml deck to the ribbon (it's a channel push), but I cannot figure out how to make it notify the user that the content has been updated. I see that I can change the Icon, but that won't get the user's attention while the device is holstered.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated.

Default Push priority

You want to make sure you set the X-Rim-Push-Priority header, this is documented in the 4.0.2 development guide on page 125. See

I am using a Black Berry Bulk Push program that I really like for its functionality and User interface. But I have a problem with the channel push. There seems to be no ryhme or reason to where the icon appears on the users blackberry when I push the icon from the server. For instance sometimes when I push the icon it will appear as the first icon, at other times it will appear as the last icon, and on another users BB it will appear somewhere in the middle of the home screen. Does anyone have any ideas how to specify where the pushed icon appears?

Did you develop this yourself or is it a off the shelf app? I'm trying to do the same thing but not having a great deal of luck.

I am using a download of BlackBerryBulkPush, but I have made some changes to it myself, but I cannot find anywhere to change the position of the icon nor can I figure out where I could add it into the programming, have you had any success?
