Unhappy Help! Frozen BB!

Please Login to Remove!

I updated to the 4.1 OS (cingular sys), everything was great until I tried to delete a couple applications (t-mobile theme & golf game). The phone needed to restart...after an hour or two of a rotating hour glass, removing the battery etc. I searched these forums to find a solution. I found a way to erase the phone and re-install everything...BUT, i tried twice now (once to remove some things & once to install some applications) and it is taking Forever to re-initialize! Is the OS stable? Am I stable? What is wrong? Please help! I basically have a frozen BB!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7100/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

The os is stable as far as I have experienced. I did notice that the less fee memory I have the longer it takes to reinitialize. Try feeinh up more memory.

My 7105t (t-mobile) did the same thing. After several hours on the phone with tech support, it was determined to be a hardware issue. The tech indicated it was fairly common.

All of the original problems started after deleting some applications.

May I suggest you completely wipe out the BlackBerry completely using Javaloader and then reload it. Lay off loading and deleting themes and applications until it is stable.

It should only take 20 minutes maximum.

Well, here we go again... I installed an application, didn't like it, decided to uninstall it using desktop manager... now going on an hour with the hourglass syndrom... Can someone just explain to me what is going on? Is this 'normal'? Thanks!
