I just got a 7130e..the bell canada guy told me to charge it for 12 hours prior to using it..can i use it while it charges?

yes you can use it. and there's no need to charge it for 12 hours, once it hits 100% you're good to go.

just let the battery drain completely first...then recharge until 100 % then completey drain again...then your good to go...do that every now and then to keep the battery lasting longer.
