I am new to the blackberry world. I am coming from the Treo world. I notice that the numbers that are in speed dial the name appears with the number when you get a call. I also see that when another number calls that is not in your speed dial list but is in your address book, only the number appears. Is there a way to have the name appear with the number?

Thanks

Wirelessly posted (7250/4.1.0.268, Bell Mobility: BlackBerry7250/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/109)

Incoming call should display the name, number and type (home, office, mobile, etc) provided that 1) you have saved the full number with area code into your address book and 2) you have subscribed to your carrier's Call Display feature.

They should not have to be stored within a speed-dial location for the name to display.

If you have content protection enabled and the device is locked, only the number will show. Just another thing to check.
