Default Same old calendar issue

Please Login to Remove!

Having the one-way calendar sync issure. I've read all the post but I'm not familiar enough with all the terminology. Here's what I know:
Exchange 2003 SP 2 on Windows 2003
BES 4.0.3.12 on Windows 2000 SP 4

I originally installed BES with the administrator account. After reading the posts I created a BESadmin account, checked the security on the Exchange server within ESM and removed BESadmin from any groups that had the "Send/Receive as" denied (checked it at least 4 times), made BESadmin a computer administrator on the BES server, and changed the MAPI profile on BES server to BESadmin. BES server does not have ESM installed on it. When logged onto the BES server as BESadmin I can start Blackberry Manager and all services are running. My problem may lie with my CDO files, and this is where I'm not sure of exactly what is going on:
BES - CDO ver 6.5.7233.48 located in C:\Program Files\System\MSMAPI\1033
Exchange - CDO ver 6.5.7638.2 located in C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\bin

Did I miss a step when switching to the BESadmin account?
Do I need to reinstall BES with the BESadmin account?

It's better to completly install ESM as the BES needs more than only the mapi32.dll and the cdo.dll.

Use the 6.5.7233.48 and register it (regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\bin\cdo.dll. Do you have Outlook or something else which uses CDO installed? If so remove this first.

Do the services run under the BESadmin account? If not change this or do a re-install logged on as the BESadmin

Thanks, Mark.
Ok, here we go...
I uninstalled Outlook from the BES and installed ESM. The CDO version on BES server is now 6.5.6944.0 and is located at PF\Exchsrvr\bin. I registered both CDO files on both BES and Exchange. Now when I log onto the BES server as BESadmin and try to open BlackBerry Manager I get this: "Unable to retrieve the server's distinguished name or allocate a MAPI buffer for this server". The BlackBerry services are running though and I can open up BlackBerry Manager from my laptop. I think I may just reinstall tomorrow morning unless somebody has some additional advice.

Well, it actually wasn't working at all when I made that last post so I reinstalled as BESAdmin and everything is back to the way it was, calendar not syncing and all. We bought this less than two months ago so I still have some time to use my free technical support.

I would say to just wipe the entire server (save the database files, obviously) and just start over. But honestly speaking, uninstalling BES and reinstalling it is about a 20 minute job. Shouldn't hurt to try that.

You may also want to check the Services in Windows and make sure that all BlackBerry services are set to start and run as the BES service account.
