This is a slick phone indeed! My Cingular rep has possession of one and it is as cool as it looks.

A good friend of mine at RIM says that announcement will be made at The Wireless Enterprise Symposium 2006 in Orlando this month (May 16-18). Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I'm just too used to the full qwerty of my 8700. I don't think I could go back to suretype now.

I find suretype is a lot better for one-handed operation.

Yeah I agree on the sure type. However, I am growing fond of the Qwerty.

I just tried a friend's 7105t suretype, and vs my 8700, the qwerty is so much easier. I know you probably need to get used to suretype, but wow, I struggled way too much and too often to even type in a web address.
