To All:

I just installed the trial upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1 for our BES on Windows Server 2k. Everything works great but I cannot figure out how to get Groupwise Messenger running on the BlackBerrys. I see the folder called "IM" and I have copied them to folders (just like I would to install another program to be deployed) but it does not appear and I cannot deploy it.

Can anyone give me a link to go where there is a step by step guide to deploying Messenger IM? I searched the BlackBerry site and found nothing.

Search for appilcation and push in the TKC.

Thanks for the article. I figured out how to do this and late in the day yesterday found out that we are running an older version of Messenger, which needs to be 2.0 to run on BES 4.1

Trying to convince our team to upgrade so I can get this running.
