I am getting this error message when I try to login into MSN messanger on my 8700g. So far, it is only when I am on the GPRS network, but I have 4 bars of signal. I was able to login on last night, but not tonight. I am using the default messenger client, OZ.

What does Login Error (500) mean? How can I avoid it?

Okay, this is a shot in the dark. But when I had GPRS it would not let me do anything requiring a data connection (internet)

So maybe it means your no in the network that would allow you to use the internet service. You may have to have Edge in order to use it.

Is there anyway or free messanger application that would use SMS instead of data to transmit the instant messanges? I need something that will reliably connect.

Hmm, you know there may be one out there, but I don't know what it may be. Alot of people have been concerned with that, wanting it to be only data, have not seen the opposite. Someone should know the answer to this and get back to you about it.
