Default icon I can't get to go away?

Please Login to Remove!

OK I've got an icon that has a number 1 and then a box with an arrow pointing down in the box. The upper right corner of the icon is like a sheet of paper folded over. Any idea what this is. I've even gone so far as to delete all of my messages on the 7100t and it still isn't going away. I don't have any voice mail waiting for me so I don't think that's it. I've also pulled the battery thinking that might clear it up. Any ideas?

That's your message icon. Try looking in the saved folder for any new messages.

I got that symbol after signing up for Push weather from mobile.blackberry.com - it's the indicator that I have a new weather report. After clicking on the weather icon on my home screen it clears it out until the next push.

Dang, I was too slow on the trigger on this one. That icon had me puzzled for almost an entire day until I found that I had that push weather report on my Home (aka Applications) page.

And here's another one for you: to get rid of the weather report you have to go back to mobile.blackberry.com and DELETE the subscription. Changing it to an email-based subscription won't make it go away.

It's a "saved" URL or link. It should bein your INBOX ... at least that's where *mine* are. It'll also show up if you use a push service like mobile.blackberry.com and request the update be emailed to you.
