Did you attempt and not complete a Enterprise Activation?

I received similar emails after synchronizing my BB 8700 & my laptop. The BB "learned" about an Outlook account on the laptop & was sending these emails to that account to try and keep it synchronized.

I had to remove the account from my laptop, then resynchronize, then turn off email synchronization on the BB. Then these emails stopped.

HTH.

This messages are created during Enterprise Activation and if completed, there are removed.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.8 [en] (Windows NT 5.0; U) BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/125)

Interesting article. My experience was that there can be.another cause, as I said earlier. My BB is on BES and desktop manager is correctly installed - but attempting to synchronize email on a laptop with a completely separate, non-work-non-blackberry email account caused that account to get one of these emails for each email that went into or out of my main-BB-wireless-synchronized account.

You said you sync'd your handheld with a laptop and that it uses a BES. did you sync a handheld to this computer that is not on a BES? if so that woul dgive you desktop service books and generate the above message when your laptop is closed (since redirector would not be running)

You're dead right. The BES is on my employer's servers, and it syncs automatically by wireless. I installed BB desktop on my personal laptop so I could sync the BB with my Outlook address book by turning off wireless synchronization and using USB. Seems one of the email accounts on my laptop got caught up (but only one, of several).

yup - redirector will only work with 1 address so that makes sense
is this a personal laptop? as in not one you use all the time @ work?

if so just install desktop manager using the BIS option
i have my home copmuter set up using this - and my work one set-up for BES (this way i don't have to keep creating encription keys or get the network@etp emails)
