Question Detect Mail, URL and Telephonenumber in Browser

Please Login to Remove!

Hallo,

How does the Browser of the Blackberry detects if a string is a URL, Mailadress or Telephonnumber?

If the URL, Mail is displayed as Text the menu with Call or New Mail ist shown but if the same URL or Mail is displayed as a link only the "Get Link" menu entry is shown.

Is it possible to tell the browser (within html) that the text is a Link or Telephonnumber or Mailadress?

regards robert
