Is there any application for the Blackberry 8700c that will allow me to upload my current coordinates from my GPS device so that someone else can reference them to a map to find my location?

Best of luck buddy..

From the TV show "24." As entertaining as your comments are do you have a solution for our fellow memeber atuarre?

I have not heard of this type of 3rd party app.

I don't feel terribly sympathetic to the OP. A simple search in these fora would have answered his question. This thread is a good place to start:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/show...&highlight=gps

An even simpler google search would have explained who Jack Bauer was.

I don't know why people in this group have to be so nasty. You can simply say why not do a search. One day I hope you don't need someone to answer one of your questions. There are some great people here, but others I have very little respect for. Thanks for the help guys. I have done searches myself in the past and haven't found answers. Then when I asked a very polite question I get horribly rude answers. Fortunately, there are enough good people on here to make it worth coming back. And I have actually been able to help a few people with suggestions as well -- even tho I am NOT a bb guru.

I don't think I was particularly nasty if I am the one you are directing your comment to. I even did the search for him and posted a good thread that the search found.

I was talking about the "smart" comments about Jack Bauer for one thing. It just seems that people are in such a hurry to be jerks. I understand that it can get frustrating to have people ask the same questions over and over, but there are some of us, like me, that are NOT techies, and even when I get an answer from the forums, they sometimes don't make sense to me ... I don't understand the answer and comments like that one don't help the situation.

I was joking around with him, I have exhanged PM's with him and he know's that. I hate it when people tell someone to SEARCH instead of helping them, so in that respect I agree with you, but that does not apply here as that is neither what I said nor what I implied

Stop assuming things.

Cheers...

This is exactly what I mean about people being rude and obnoxious. No where in the post did I use profanity or call you names. However, you show your own colors by your writing. Have a WONDERFUL day.

jungleland and penguin - that's enough of that language in here. Be helpful and cordial or don't post at all.
