Default Error 502 / Cannot Open Tunnel"

Please Login to Remove!

Well I can't change the subject but I will post my solution anyway:

Those who got the error message stated in the subject, go into Options, Advanced Options, Service Books, and delete the carrier with the words "WAP". For example, if you are in contract with T-Mobile, delete T-Mobile. After you delete that, turn off the device, remove/re-insert the battery, turn wireless on, and go into Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, and choose "register now" after you make a selection.

Oh, I forgot to mention how it worked after the removal of T-Mobile from the service book and restarted the device before I registered the T-Mobile via Host Routing Table. It worked just fine. I get no "cannot open tunnel" error in Ramble IM and no "502 Gateway Error" when going to certain websites in the Browser.

I tried to find "Gateway IP" and "Gateway Port" setting in TCP but I only get APN, Username, and Password. I have wap.voicestream.com as APN and username/password blank. But before the fix, even I got the settings correct along with 310-260 in Host Routing Table, I got those two errors. But after the fix as described in my first post, it worked.
