Does anyone have version 2.04 of AskMeNow on their computer? The ota link is gone.

I had downloaded the previous link before it was removed and I just received an email saying that there was an update. I downloaded it and it seems to work fine, I'll have to wait and see if I get charged or not. It did ask for my phone number, but the messages get sent as emails so I can't see how they would bill me. Here is the link for OTA download.

Did any of you ever get charged with AskMeNow? I am still on the beta 2.04, but I don't want to upgrade if I have to pay $.49 to get answers. That is no upgrade at all to me.

I'm less concerned with the charges and more concerned with the way the application is built. Version 2.x was a quick, efficient peice of software. A single click opened the "Ask Me Anything" window, you could type your question and click to send. With version 3.x there's a 4 second long splash screen and a series of icons to navigate before you can begin typing your question. It's faster for me to use Berry411's Google and Wikipedia plugins than to use AskMeNow version 3.

I lost my AskMeNow when I had to reload the OS on my BlackBerry. When I reloaded the OS and restored my data everything was there except AskMeNow, I have to pay to use it if I download from my carrier which sucks coz it's $0.75 per answer. I made a post about this a while back but nobody posted a link. I am installing the one that was posted by BBSpike (THANKS BY THE WAY!!!!) I hope I don't get charged per answer on this one. The one posted on AskMeNow's site is 3.16 if I am not wrong and this is 3.15 so I am hoping it's beta and free.

it gets charged right to your phone bil - I was just reading their terms and conditions

I just go AskMeNow. When I ask a question, the question is email using my personal email address. How do I change this to be the blackberry address.
Email is sent automatic, so I cant manual change it. I look on the BIS and BB and could not find how to switch this.

Any help
