I finally got fed up with the problems I had with the Treo 650 and, although they are sending me a refurbished replacement, I "went over to the dark side" and got an 8700c yesterday. It will take some time to get my navigation skills up to speed but so far I am very impressed with it. Emails are great, web access is far faster than the 650, no stylus to lose (and replacements are only available in packs of 3). I do have a problem trying to get my Gmail address in the email system but that may clear up with time. Other than that, it's been about 24 hours and so far I am pleased with the switch.

Do a search on Gmail. I'm a Yahoo guy but I know that there are good threads here on Gmail integration.

Be careful of this going over to the Dark Side. It is a powerful force and few of us have escaped.

Many thanks to all who have contributed to these community forums for helping me find my way to a 8700r today. I spent about a month researching and visiting Bell Mob, Telus and Rogers outlets before I decided. Tried everything from the Moto Q, to the Mike 7100i and 7130e .Sure Type's not for me.
Why did I continue with Rogers? Corporate discounts as a school board employee and 12 years of very good service.
I guess I'm in the minority as far as having anything good to say about Mr. Rogers , but ..
