Default Stop personal email to Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

My 8700C that I have through work is great. I set it up to get my personal sbglobal.net email on the BB. I did not realize when I did that my personal mail would go into the same folder and show up with all my business mail.
I now want to discontinue the personal email from being retrieved by the Blackberry but cannot figure out how to do it.
I have deleted the service book that refers to my personal account but I still get the personal mail.
Hope someone knows how to remedy this because my IT department is baffled.
Thanks.

login into your carrier's BIS site - since you have an 8700c i'm going to assume your w/ Cingular so the site is www.cingular.com/blackberrystart

sign in w/ your username and password and then choose to delete your SBCGlobal account

Is there a way to have his acct. in a SBC folder w/o mail going to the main folder. I still do not get it. I have for example 8 emails. They all go to the main folder, then I have 8 folders taken up room. Why can I not have just the folders and get rid of the main folder for mail. When you have a email say for example in SBC, it would show 1 on the folder or how many emails you have.

I think its kinda silly, but maybe there is a a reason.

you cannot do this

basically your messages icon gets all your email - IF your on 4.1 handheld code and have BIS 2.0 you'll get seperate icons that mirro so to speak what is in that main folder BUT was sent to a certain address

in other words, you get the email only once on your handheld but you can view it in 2 places - make sense?

the reason for the seperate folders is to make it easier to:
1) see what address the email was sent to
2) make sure your sending email from your handheld using the address you want

basically, the whole thing w/ seperate icones was thAt it wasn't made to only store your email in that folder - if it was then anytime you got new service books or deleted them you'd lose all of your email thazt was sent to that address

hope this helps

They're not folders, they're Preset Filters. If they were folders the messages wouldn't appear in the message list. You can't have the same message in two different fokders, just a copy. And deleting in one wouldn't delete in the other. Remember Filters not folders.

Hope this helps.
