Hi All,

You know in email where you can insert a symbol and on the second page of symbols are all of the smiley's. I somehow lost page 2 - it's not there any more, so no smileys. The odd thing is that page 2 in symbols is still there in BB Messenger.

Any thought?

Try taking the battery out for 30 seconds. It seems to clear up unusual issues.

Wow, my 8700g doesn't have any emoticons or any page two for the symbol menu, nor does my girlfriend's 7290, nor did my old 6210! How do you enable that?

The original poster is not missing emotions, but missing the symbols to create the text based emotions.

Fine, though as I said, I have never had a second page of additional symbols (of any sort) on any of my BBs. If there is some way to enable an additional page of ASCII symbols, I would very much like to know how to do it, because that would be useful to me.

On every BB I have ever used, there was only one page of symbols to choose from.

I never had a Page 2 for symbols. I have several pages available in Yahoo and maybe 2 pages in Blackberry Messenger but other than that, I don't recall seeing an extra page of symbols to use in the regular e-mail application.

This must be a BB Messenger thing, because I also only have Page 1/1 in my symbols, but don't use BB Messenger.

Hi All,

The smileys on page two in my symbols list isn't a BB Messenger feature. Or let me revise that, it is a BB Messenger feature but they were also always available in my email app. I am on BIS, and when I compose an email, I just bring up the "menu" and select "show symbols" - and there are two pages of symbols - the second page is a page of smiley choices.

Next - I did take the battery out for 30 seconds and checked. They're still not there :>( Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
