Default Message Indicator stopped blinking red

My BB used to blink red whenever I had an email and now it just blinks green all of the time. I thought it was handy and want it to blink red again. I haven't changed anything it just changed itself. Happen to anyone else?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102)

It only blinks red for a limited amount of time. It will not blink red the whole time you have messages, maybe just for the first ten minutes I think.

In profiles, you can edit the "Repeat Notification" for each type of alert (email, SMS, phone, calendar, etc). Set it to "None" instead of LED Flashing. Should do the trick.
