Default Blackberry 8700g on T-Mobile

Please Login to Remove!

I just recently upgraded my Razor to the Blackberry 8700g and I have a few questions that you might be able to answer.

1. I have the Blackberry plan on T-Mobile at 19.99 per month and I was told that it includes unlimited internet / Emails and 500 text messages. My question is with the MSN or Yahoo Instant Messenger does that go against the internet or my text messages? I spoke with a clueless customerservice rep and I was told that its text messages but I could tell that he was not really sure.

2.Internet - I am able to access most sites but my wife needs to access .marykayintouch.com on hers and it gives her some kind

It goes on your messages... check this out.. I don't know if these app will take up message or just pure date.. but here's what I recommend. IM+, yuk-it, ramble (only for AIM), verichat. Try downloading them on your blackberry.. I wouldn't use OZ if I were you.

Welcome to the family!

Hi,

I also have T-Mobile unlimited's plan at $19,99, but mine doesn't include any text messaging. I added the unlimited SMS package for $14.99, you might want to confirm whether you really have sms included or not, maybe you got somekind of promotion.

OZ Instant Messager, which is the free software that comes with the 8700g uses SMS. You'll be charged one SMS to send and one SMS to receive every IM.

I tried the MaryKay web site you are referring to and I can't see it on mine neither. It tells me that I need to upgrade my browser to the latest Internet Explorer. I tried Option > Browser Configuration > Emulation Mode > Microsoft IE, but I still got that message. I think there are other browser out there but I didn't try any yet. Good luck.

I would definately confirm that your plan does indeed include 500 text messages-could be that you got some sort of promotion-but I just came back from my local T-Mobile store with a colleague who was going to get the BB 8700 and we didn't hear about any promotion that had the add on including 500 messages. As far as I know, the only BB plans that include text messages are the standalone plans -which if I recall correctly include 300 text msgs and the Minutes & Mail plans-which include unlimited messaging.I have the Minutes & Mail plan with my BB.My colleague is considering making a switch to T-Mo for his family plan-so he would likely end up adding the Family Messaging Plan if he doesn't get the Minutes & Mail.

I'm using GoogleTalk. It's free. With a little bit of patience you can configure it to connect to AIM, ICQ, MSN and Yahoo. It's basic but it works fine for me.

Default That plan does not include

the 19.99 add on does not include 500 text messages for T-Mobile. The 29.99 blackberry plan includes 300 text messages.

This is my understanding from several reps as well. Unless you got some special deal, I'd double check that.

Messenger chats go against messages. So, if you do:

You: Hey, what's up?
Them: Not much, you?
You: Nothing

You've used 3 messages. Can add up really fast!
