Default Message Icon - screen - top left - reset?

Please Login to Remove!

Good evening:

I have a 7290 Blackberry. It has been working well on the Rogers network in Canada.

I was recently down to the USA.

I now have a "message icon" displayed - at the top left of the screen. It has "12" and then the small image of an envelope --- suggesting I have 12 messages.

When I go to to Messages on the 7290 --- there are none.

How do I get rid of --- or "reset" this message icon to zero?

Thanks for any suggestions you have.

Did you check the "Saved Messages" in your Blackberry?

Default Thanks!

Thanks for your posting and suggestion.

I went into my "saved messages" folder --- and found some messages that I had "saved" but never actually "opened." After I opened all of them --- the Message Icon disappeared.

Great!

I have the same problem on a 7250, Verizon. I have checked all folders including the saved folder. There are no unopened messages. Any suggestions?

Try your sent items folder as well.

Also try the phone logs, there might be unopened messages in there.

Default Make Sure that you don't have Filed Messages Hidden

If you do under options, then your unopened messages may lie there.
