alt-L-G-L-G clear log
browser--> options--> clear cache
immediate relief !!

Also delete your call logs, pics, ringtones, themes, and programs that you dont use. You may also want to clear your browser history and cache.

When I need to free up some space shut the phone down and pull the battery. Then restart it, that should free up some for you.

when i pull out the battery and restart it, my bb takes about 3 to 5 mins to bootup. Is this normal?

Usually this indicates there is no data plan. Do you have the BlackBerry data plan provisioned on your device? Also, when does the Data Connection Refused message appear? What function are you performing?

some aftermarket apps are sloppy with their memory management. bbtoday seems to leak, and some chat apps can too. close all apps and do a soft or hard boot.
